Printing Your Downloadable Items

ADOBE ACROBAT PDF READER PRINTING

When you open up your printable card, gift card holder, list sheets, or cd envelopes in Acrobat Reader, the first step is to make sure you have your reader set at 100% viewing.

The next step is to click on “File” in the top menu and scroll down to “print” in the drop down menu.

Another dialog window will pop up (see below). Make sure you have your settings like in the screenshot below. Do Not Scale the printing.

Click on “ok”. Acrobat Reader will print your card and envelope.

If you only want to print one page at a time, then click on “current page” and only the page that is showing will print. You may also click on “pages” if you wish to print any the pages separately.

When you are done printing on your card stock, you will need to trim off the excess from the side and bottom of your card so it will be the correct size for the envelope. The card envelopes should be cut out of heavy weight paper, not card stock.
Your choice of print paper to use for other items is up to you and the results you wish to achieve.

You will be able to print your card or other printable items as many times as you wish.

E-BOOK PRINTING WITH ADOBE ACROBAT READER

When printing an e-book item using Acrobat Reader, use the same procedure as you would use to print a card (see above). You may pick any page to print or print the whole e-book, including the cover page. Again, make sure you are viewing and printing your e-book at 100% in your pdf file program and in your printer settings.

ZIPPED FILE PRINTING

After downloading your zipped printable item to a folder on your computer, you will need to open up your image in a graphics program such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Elements.
Individual printable items in a zipped format will be in .png file format. This allows the image to have a transparent background so you can use it to copy and paste onto your favorite card or scrapbooking page. You can also add your favorite photos behind the transparent areas on the scrapbooking pages. You will need workable knowledge of your graphics program.

You can print your item from your printer when you have completed your graphic editing. Just check to be sure the size of your graphic does not exceed your printer's size capabilities and always print at 100% size.

*Also remember that each printer's characteristics differ, and that the colors of the printable item may vary some.*

FOLDING ENVELOPE TEMPLATES

All of the envelope templates included with your printable item are for the most part self-explanatory. I have included some samples below.
